Formulation contains the prebiotic chondroitin sulfate.

HOW TO PREPARE NON-DAIRY MAF PROBIOTIC DRINK
- Allow 1 litre of apple juice come to room temperature by leaving it on the kitchen bench. Once it is at room temperature continue to the next step.
- Wash your hands and clean the work area before starting the preparation. Use paper towels to dry your hands as well as to clean objects, utensils and surfaces (use paper towels only).
- To dissolve the powder in the apple juice, take a small amount (2-3 tablespoons) of the apple juice and pour it in a small glass. With the help of a teaspoon stir well until you will get a smooth and creamy product. (If you have already added the powder to all of your juice you can easily remove it with a spoon as it will float, this should be transferred to a small glass and made into a paste).
- Pour the remaining amount of the 1 litre of apple juice into a glass bowl or jar , now pour this smooth and creamy product in the large glass bowl that you have previously prepared and containing all the other ingredients, trying to recover as much as you can from the small glass (where you have dissolved the powders) more apple juice can be used to ensure everything is removed from the glass. Some clumps may remain in the juice; however, during the fermentation process they will dissolve.
- Using the steel tablespoon, stir the juice mixture well in the large glass bowl or jar , cover the bowl loosely with kitchen paper (to protect from dust), and leave it sitting (fermenting) for 24 hours at room temperature in a quiet place, away from vibrations, heat, or fans.
- The optimum fermentation temperature is between 16 and 26 °C (60 – 78 °F). However, the formulation is very flexible so that it can easily tolerate a wider range of temperatures while fermenting. Fermentation for longer than 48 hours is not recommended and should be avoided.
- Do not mix or stir during the fermentation as this will slow down the fermentation.
- After the fermentation, mix well the content of the glass bowl / jar with a clean steel tablespoon, transfer the product into a glass jug if needed.
- The fermented fruit juice can now be stored refrigerated in the fridge for up to 10 days in the glass jug, loosely covered with aluminum foil.
